Indie Band GOLDEN Releases 3D Video On Their Website

3Dwalkthroughs.com just picked up a story on CNETnews.com about an Atlanta based indie rock band, GOLDEN, that is premiering a full-color stereoscopic 3D music video of their latest single.

You can download and watch the 3D video directly from their website but will need 3D glasses to experience the 3D effects. If you do not have 3D glasses, the band will actually send them to you if you provide your name and home address.

The video which showcases the bands new release, Shine, was produced by Atlanta-based Dzignlight Studios at a fraction of what it costs to create an MTV style 2D music video. The fact that producing 3D videos is becoming much more affordable will hopefully promote a more stable future for 3D videos and movies than in the past.

We have been reading about many different developing technologies that will soon eliminate the need for the 3D glasses altogether. Based on the rave reviews of U23D it seems like these movies are off to a promising start.
