Microsoft unveiled an unbelievable new product last month called "Surface". Surface is basically a touch screen table top computer that offers an endless array of possibilities. Here are some ideas of what the product can do:
1) Place a digital camera on the surface and it automatically reads all the images which can be moved re-sized, manipulated, etc.
2) Place your cell phone on the surface and it will tell you anything you need to know about your phone, allow you to drag new ring tones, upgrade to a better model, download directions, etc.
3) Place multiple credit cards on the surface and drag and drop different menu items from a restaurant as a way of splitting the bill.
3Dwalkthroughs.com envisions using the technology to provide real estate professionals with an ability to create a totally virtual sales office. Imagine being able to select a group of properties within a certain price range and then with the flex of your wrist start a 3d walkthrough, view a 3d rendering or 3d floor plan or start a video of what the surrounding area has to offer.
