A town in Ireland, Westport, is using an interactive 3D Model to market the current and future plans of the town. The 3D Walkthrough was created by a company called AMT3D which specializes in creating virtual towns. We found the interactive demo to be pretty cool as it allowed you to switch from an actual 3D view to a wireframe view. The only downside was you had to download a viewer and the navigation was a little unresponsive. With that being said it is nice to see the use of 3D technology to market a whole town.
