Video Games and 3D Applications Trending Toward The Healthy Side

3Dwalkthroughs.com has been hearing a lot lately about how video games and 3D technologies are being used to help promote exercise and improve the way medical research is conducted.

There was a pretty detailed article on Smartmoney.com about a telenews event conducted by organizers of the Games for Health national conference (http://www.gamesforhealth.org) The article describes four major emerging trends that are utilizing video game and 3D technology. These include:
1) Exergaming kicking into high gear
2) Video games going into rehab and therapy
3) Major health care providers arriving on the scene
4) The rise of video games for first responders and medical professionals
